Paul Hogan was born on a mountain top in Tennessee. Now he sings sweet songs of anxiety and places, especially his current home New York City. He also sings of love, lost love, and other such creatures that grow and change. He orchestrates his songs for a music store's worth of instruments including: toy piano, piano, accordion, guitar, kalimba, Pakistani banjo, autoharp, glockenspiel, violins, percussion, am radios, samplers and iPod. Sometimes he plays them by himself like a nickelodeon. Other times, his six-piece Coin-Operated Orchestra helps out to give his hands a rest.

When you listen to Paul Hogan's music, not only will you hear diverse instrumentation, you might also notice his diverse influences beginning with Paul's folk birthright to his gamelan studies in Indonesia, his degrees in classical music composition to his electronic and experimental sound installations. Finally, Paul has released his debut solo CD, Frances.
